Beliefs
			The Lord Jesus Christ  I believe in the deity of Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God.  We believe in His substitutionary death for all men, His resurrection, and His eventual return to judge the world. Salvation I believe all men are born with a sinful nature and that the work of the Cross was to redeem man from the power of sin.  We believe that this salvation is available to all who will receive it. The Holy Spirit I believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity and in His interaction with man.  We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as manifested by the fruit and the gifts of the Spirit. The Sacred Scripture I believe in the scripture as the inspired Word of God and that it is the complete revelation of God's will for mankind.  We believe in the absolute authority of the scripture to govern the affairs of men. Stewardship I believe that every man is the steward of his life and resources which ultimately belong to God.  We believe that tithing is a measure of obedience to the scriptural principles of stewardship.   The Church I believe in the Church as the eternal and universal Body of Christ consisting of all those who have accepted the work of the atonement. We believe in the need for a local assembly of believers for the purpose of evangelism and edification. Prayer and Praise I believe in the worship of the Lord through singing, clapping, and the lifting of hands. We believe in the authority of the believer to ask freely of the Lord for his needs. Body Ministry I believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit to the Church body through the anointing of oil by the elders of the church. Evangelism I believe that evangelism is the obligation of every follower of Jesus Christ. The Lord commands us to go out and make disciples of all the earth. We believe that each person is first responsible to evangelism in their own family as the Holy Spirit leads them and gives them the ability. Water Baptism I believe in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion in obedience to the Word of God. All those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior should be baptized in water as a public profession of their faith in Christ and to experience what the Bible calls the "circumcision of the Spirit." Our Commitment to Israel I believe in the promise of Genesis 12:3 regarding the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. We believe that this is an eternal covenant between God and the seed of Abraham to which God is faithful. The Priesthood of the Believer I believe that every believer has a unique relationship to the Lord. As His children, every Christian has immediate access to the throne of Grace and the ability to manifest the power of the Lord Jesus Christ in ministry.

To turn the sinner into the saint.

I believe:

That the word of God as contained in the Bible is true and we believe that the scripture in its entirety originated from God and is full and final authority on all matters.

That there is one true Holy God, eternally existing in three persons - Father Son and Holy Spirit, each of whom possess equally all the attributes of deity and characteristics of personality . 1 John 5:7.

That all men are born sinners and that salvation must be personally appropriated by repentance and faith Romans 3:23, Genesis 3: 1-19, Psalm 51:5, Isaiah 64:6

That Jesus Christ is the eternal second person of the trinity who became human by miraculous conception and virtgin birth Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1: 18-25

That a genuine saving relationship with Jesus Christ will result in a life of holiness and obedience.

That the scripture is the final authority in all matters of Life and godliness covering every spectrum of human existence, including material, mental, social and all

True Friends

 

 

True Friends by Kristie-Lyn Wightman   People today, in all this new world technology and thinking, have lost sight of what a true friendship is. So, in sprit of my best friend Tellie, I thought I would help the world out a little and explain what real, true friends are. 1. Friends don't have to be exactly the same. Friends have similarities but they also have their differences. They key to opening up the world of friendship is not only to expand on similarities but to accept each other's faults. Because you can't ever judge your friend. 2. Friends have to argue! No one likes to but it is necessary to be healthy. Cause if you agree on everything, either the government has expanded cloning subjects or someone isn't being true and is trying a little too hard. 3. You have to be comfortable together or else you just aren't going to click. If you feel edgy around the person then something isn't quite right. 4. Friends love unconditionally. They have there little angry moments but what's done is done and all is forgive and forget. Why let something that happened in the past ruin what happiness you could have in the future? 5. Believe in love at first sight because there is the equivalent in friendship. Some people think that you have to know someone really well to become good friends. Trust me, it's not true. If the first time you really spend time together you talk for 25 hours straight until 4:30 in the morning about some topic you thought no one else in the world understood, hun, that's real love at first sight. These are only a few of the basics. Just remember, friends are forever. But only if you keep it that way. Don't diss your buds, love them instead. And when they drive you nuts, love them that much more for being just a little bit different and maybe just a little bit quirky!
